Algebra 1B
Course Description
|
Algebra 1B is the second course in a series designed to follow Algebra 1A, covering the second portion of Algebra 1 and some basic geometry concepts. Algebra 1 concepts could include: Systems of equations, graphing linear inequalities and systems of inequalities, exponential functions, polynomial operations, solving quadratic functions, graphing quadratics, and data analysis. Students will be assigned an average of 30 minutes of homework each day. Material for this course is presented in lecture, investigation, discussion, by students sharing solutions in class, and by answering questions about problems in homework assignments. A scientific calculator is required for this course.
